The conclave was inaugurated by Dr. S. Glory Swarupa, Director General of the National Institute of MSME Hyderabad. March 15, 2024: Morning sessions focused on registration, health, and nutritional benefits of jackfruit. Afternoon sessions explored value addition through modern technologies and the role of FPOs in promoting jackfruit. The day concluded with success stories in jackfruit utilization and a cultural program.
March 16, 2024: Discussions covered entrepreneurial avenues in jackfruit processing and market potential for value-added products.The event also facilitated institutional support for startups and networking opportunities between buyers and sellers.The conclave ended with an agri startup meet and a flock dance competition.

AIC – Nitte Incubation Center in association with Nitte (Deemed to be University) and event partnered with HiiiH Innovations Pvt Ltd has organized a 3-day Nitte Healthcare Innovation Hackathon to address the health discrepancies in resource-limited settings, where there is a dire need for cost-effective medical technologies that can deliver high quality, affordable and sustainable health care.
This Hackathon platform brought together diverse stakeholders of the medical industry to solve critical health challenges through co-creation and innovation. This 50-hour Hackathon included support on technology, innovation, design thinking and keynote address by experts. Working in teams, participants competed for cash prizes and talent exposure, while creating innovative, tech-based solutions to challenges thrown by the industry.
The Winners of this Hackathon won a cash prize of INR 50,000 & first runner-up won a cash prize of INR 25,000. The benefits such as Mentoring support, Industry experts connect and Incubation support with a possible seed capital investment of up to INR 25 Lakh (subject to evaluation) is provided to the top five teams.
Nitte National Jackfruit Conclave – 2022 is supported by National Institute of Agricultural Marketing- Hyderabad, National Institute of MSME- Hyderabad, Karnataka Bank Limited and organized by AIC Nitte Incubation Center, Sri Dharmasthala Siri Gramodyoga Samsthe (R) , and Suphala Farmer Producer Company Limited. The main objective of this Jackfruit Conclave is to create a forum for discussion on the dissemination of knowledge and technologies on jackfruit, strategies for value addition, and the importance of establishing a network of breeders, food processors, farmers, businessmen, researchers, and scientists.
Around 225 participants from different parts of India participated in the event, Entrepreneurs in Food Processing Industries, farmers, Buyers & sellers of Jack fruits, researchers, and Representatives from Governmental & Non-Governmental Bodies promoting jackfruit. AIC Nitte Pre-Incubation Program was inaugurated on 5th July 2022 by Dr. Subramanya G-Chairman & Managing Director of Sudeeksha Group of Companies, in presence of Dr. A P Achar, CEO of AIC-Nitte, Mr. Pradeep BV, Co- founder at Obvious Technology, Mr. Kiran Darisi, Co founder at freshWorks, and Mr. Suresh Bhagavathula, Professor at IIMB. 30 early-stage start-ups are participating in the pre-incubation program.

Interactive session on Commercialization of Innovations held on July 5th 2022. Dr. Arun M Isloor, Dr. Srinikethan, Dr. AP Achar and other dignitaries from Nitte University inaugurated the session by lighting the lamp. Dr. A P Achar, CEO of AIC Nitte, gave the insights on functioning of AIC, Nitte and encouraged the researchers and faculty members to utilise the opportunities of incubation centre and seed funding facilities for their startup. Dr. Arun M Isloor gave insights about innovation and opportunities to convert their innovation into commercialization He talked about fruitful implementation of innovation to the market. He encouraged researchers and faculty members to do continuous experiments for fruitful outcomes.
